NEW YOGA CLASS
Come and join the New Yoga Class. Every Wednesday evening in the Methodist Church Hall on Sturton Road. The class runs from 7:45 to 8:45 pm. Only £5.00
It is hoped to start a Seated Exercise class on either a Monday or a Tuesday morning. This will enable those who are unable to do regular exercise classes, the opportunity to improve their fitness levels. Without a real idea of how many people would like to attend, I am unable to look at this further. If you would like to express an interest, please ring or text me on the number below, alternatively get in touch by e-mail.
HELP WITH IT (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY)
One of the areas identified from the survey, was that some people felt they would gain from having some basic IT assistance. We have now found 2 volunteers who would be interested in helping you in this area. Obviously before anything can be organised fully, we need to have expressions of interest. Please note that any courses organised will be based at the Memorial Hall in South Leverton. If you are interested in learning a little bit more about IT then please contact either Iain or John via the following e-mail addresses:
alternatively contact Julie on the mobile number below.
There is a coffee morning which takes place every Wednesday morning at 10:30 in North Leverton Methodist Church Hall. On the 1st Wednesday of every month, a guest speaker is invited to come and talk to you about what is available out and about. The next Guest Speaker coffee morning will take place on Wednesday 5th October and the speaker will be Nicholas Rhodes. Nicholas is from “Forces Friends” a partnership with Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire and The Royal British Legion.
On Wednesday 2nd November, we will be inviting one of our Local Responders to come along and tell us how to use the Village Defibrillator that is located outside our post office. Don’t miss out on this vital opportunity. It may save someone’s life.
